According to FitSmallBusiness.com, the state of Colorado is one of the most desirable states for female entrepreneurs. The online publication for small business owners ranked all 50 states based on factors like the % of women-owned firms, % of state's business revenues coming from women-owned firms and women's economic clout within the state. Contract approved for NoCo I-25 express lanes

The Colorado Department of Transportation recently approved a $248 million contract with Kraemer/IHC to add express lanes on Interstate 25 from Johnstown to Fort Collins. For the fourth year in a row the city of Johnstown made the SafeWise Report of the "Top 10 Safest Cities in Colorado," coming in at #6 for 2017. Fort Collins in Top 5 of energy competition

News BriefsFort Collins came in fifth out of fifty communities competing in the Georgetown University Energy Prize competition. Local residents reduced energy consumption by 5.4% which is enough to power 9,800 homes for a year. This means Fort Collins will advance to the final round of the national competition, which has a $5 million prize package.
