Belcara is located directly west of Highway 287 and north of County Road 8 off of County Road 19. This premier Berthoud neighborhood shows great pride of ownership with homes residing on one acre plus lots. Homes in Balacara are in the 3200 to 4800 plus livable square foot range. Balacara was started in the early two thousand fourteen with building continuing into two thousand and fifteen. Belcara is close to Welch Reservoir and Lonetree Reservoir which both reside in the Lonetree Wildlife Area a few minutes north of Belcara on Country Road 19. Due west of Belcara in the foothills is Carter Lake that allows power boats and waterskiing. Major shopping for Belcara is located in Longmont and Loveland. Downtown Longmont has an array of shopping and dining establishments. On South Hover is the Village at the Peaks Mall that offers an array of shopping and dining experiences as well. Heading north to Loveland is Downtown Loveland and all its shopping and dining and the Chilson Recreation facility that offer activities for all ages. From Highway 287 (Cleveland Avenue), heading east on East 1st Street is Winona Pool with its green lounging lawn and fantastic water slide. Further east on East 1st Street is the new Loveland Sports Park across from Mountain View High School. At the Eisenhower Boulevard (Highway 34) - interstate 25 interchange is the new Promenade at Centerra shopping complex, Budweiser Events Center & The Ranch, Market Place at Centerra and the new Medical Center of the Rockies. Schools are Berthoud Elementary School, Turner Middle School and Berthoud High School.
