Summit View is located on the southwest edge of Severance, south of County Road 74 (Main Street). Building in Summit View started in two thousand and two with most construction completed by two thousand and six. Homes in Summit View are in the 1000 to 3000 livable square foot range. Shopping for Summit View is approximately ten minutes west of Severance on County Road 74 at interstate 25 with the new Costco and Walmart. Two minutes further west on Harmony, in Fort Collins, is the new Front Range Village shopping complex with an array of shopping and dining establishments. Further to the south of the Harmony Road and interstate 25 interchange, at the interstate 25 and Highway 34 interchange (Loveland exit), is the new Promenade at Centerra shopping complex, the Market Place at Centerra Mall and the new Medical Center of the Rockies. Schools are Tozar/Rangeview Elementary School, Windsor Middle School and Windsor High School.
