Mountain Vista is located east of 7^th Street and north of Eastman Parkway in the heart of Windsor. Mountain Vista is a a great well established neighborhood in Windsor with building started in the mid nineties. Homes in Mountain Vista are in the 1600 to 3400 livable square foot range with most homes being on approximately one quarter acre lots with mature trees, landscaping without an HOA in this well kept neighborhood. Mountain Vista is within a mile of Downtown Windsor and directly north of Eastman Park and the Poudre River Trail Natural Area. There are many shopping, dining, entertainment and recreational opportunities in Windsor, and in addition, within ten minutes and to the west of Windsor is interstate 25, the Loveland/Fort Collins Airport, the Budweiser Events Center & The Ranch, the new Medical Center of the Rockies and the Promenade at Centerra, Loveland's new center that offers an array of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Heading north to the Fort Collins Harmony Road exit on interstate 25 and you arrive at the new Costco - Walmart. Golf courses in the Windsor area are Pelican Lakes at Water Valley, the Highland Meadows Golf Course & Tennis Center as well as the private Jack Nicklaus signature Ptarmigan Country Club golf course. For outdoor recreation there is the Poudre River Trail and Frank State Wildlife Area close by and an array of Windsor parks that are within easy walking or driving distance. Schools are Tozar/Mountain View Elementary, Windsor Middle School and Windsor High School.
